Dear Church Family,
April is a significant and strategic month in the life of Towering Oaks Baptist Church. It is marked by two important moments: Easter (April 5) and the beginning of a fresh vision for our future (April 26).
EASTER SUNDAY — APRIL 5
Easter is the most attended Sunday of the year, and it provides a powerful opportunity to reach people who may not normally come to church. Now is the time to invite friends, family members, neighbors, and coworkers to join you.
We have provided “Bringer Bags” as simple tools to help you extend those invitations. Inside you’ll find items like an Easter invitation, fun treats, and creative ways to encourage someone to come. Let’s continue to live out a “Be a Bringer” culture—praying, inviting, and trusting God to work in hearts.
VISION SUNDAY 1.0 — APRIL 26
On Sunday morning, April 26, I will share how we will begin developing a fresh vision for the future of Towering Oaks. I will introduce the Vision Team and walk through the process we will follow together.
Later in the summer, we will gather for Vision Sunday 2.0, where we will present a clear, strategic plan as we launch into the fall with renewed focus and direction.
I encourage you to make worship a priority every Sunday, and especially to be present on April 5 and April 26. These will be important days in the life of our church.
The Lord is doing something special among us, and I am excited about the future He has for Towering Oaks. I look forward to walking this journey together.

Word from Lee Allen
Words from Lee Allen TOBC Family, The words of the hymn ring true, How marvelous, how wonderful, is my Savior’s love for me. This Easter season we are reminded of God’s love for us by the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for what Jesus did for us. God truly loved the world that He gave His one and only son. Believe in Him and you will not perish but have everlasting life. GLORY to God!
Someone may need to hear this news, go tell somebody about Jesus! I am so grateful for our music ministry at TOBC. I really enjoy our choir practices on Sunday nights at 4:30 in the choir room. We sing, we fellowship, we pray together. Plenty of room for more people and we would love to have you join us! Please know how much Stacie and I appreciate this church family and we are so glad to be a part of what God is doing at TOBC.

Words from Amy
Dear T.O.B.C. Family, This time of year has me thinking and smiling about a phrase that one of our former T.O.B.C. members and former T.O.C.S. preschool teachers used to say, “Silly Rabbit, Easter is about Jesus”. As Easter approaches, we have so very much to smile about and be humbled by as we celebrate our Risen Savior. I want to thank you again for your prayers and ask that you continue to pray for salvation decisions.
Our annual school ministry spelling bee will be on April 7 at 1:30, so if you’re available and would like to join us to cheer on our participants, please enter at the main sanctuary doors to be let in.
The generosity towards the Sower’s Scholarship has been amazing and is up to $4,355.37! This is sure to be an enormous blessing to our future senior graduates both this year and in years to come.
In Christ
