Welcome

At Towering Oaks Baptist Church, our passion is seeing lives changed through Christ. We are a welcoming, inter-generational church family in Greeneville, Tennessee, committed to biblical teaching, authentic community, passionate worship, and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Our Leadership

Dr. Jeremy Roberts, Senior Pastor
The Lord Jesus has blessed me with the privilege of serving as Senior Pastor of Towering Oaks Baptist Church since October 2025. My heart is devoted to preaching and teaching God’s Word, caring for His people, and guiding our church toward the future He has prepared for us. Every step of ministry is grounded in prayer, Scripture, and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
I am a lifelong learner and a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and Liberty University (B.S., M.A., D.Min.). I’m currently a Ph.D. student at Liberty, and am grateful to be near the end of my academic journey.
Since 2003, I’ve had the joy of serving churches of all sizes—beginning with a small congregation here in East Tennessee and later serving larger, multi-ministry churches across the South. In every season, God has proven Himself faithful.
My wife, Charity, and I love Towering Oaks deeply and consider it one of the greatest honors of our lives to serve this loving church family.
Alongside our Pastor Emeritus, Dr. Pierce, I also help lead a weekday devotion, broadcast Monday through Friday at 7:15 a.m. on YouTube and Facebook. You’re warmly invited to join us there.
Feel free to like my Facebook page, follow me on Instagram, or email me.
DR. TOMMY PIERCE,
PASTOR EMERITUS
God blessed me with the wonderful privilege of serving as Senior Pastor of Towering Oaks from April 1990 through October 2025. I graduated the University of Kentucky and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, receiving the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees, serving as Graduate Fellow in the Pastoral Ministries Division, contract teaching preaching, voice, and articulation.
I have had the privilege of organizing two mission churches into participating Southern Baptist Convention churches and pastored churches in Chalmette, LA, and Covington, KY before coming to Towering Oaks.
Other than being a pastor, my joy is leading groups on Holy Land Tours, having been to Israel over 20 times.
Feel free to visit my website, friend me on Facebook, and join me for devotions.

Greg Youngblood,
executive pastor
It is quite a distinct honor to serve the congregation of Towering Oaks, and the families of northeast Tennessee. As we look out from this beautiful campus and into the surrounding mountains, knobs, & hollers, it is easy to see the grandeur of God's creation through His virtual fingerprints on the region.
Since my salvation, in 1978, the Lord has continued His work in my life. I've be blessed to serve the Lord in quite a few areas of ministry; from teaching Sunday school, to community outreach, Gideons' Bible distributions, and leading ministry teams, the Lord has opened many doors of service. In 2021, I answered the call to ministry and was ordained into ministry service. With a degree in Ecclesiastical Jurisprudence, and many years of business experience, the Lord was clearly preparing me for ministry at Towering Oaks Baptist Church.
Each of us has a unique place of service, for which the Lord has prepared us (Ephesians 2:10). Today, I’d encourage you to seek His face and your place of service. Should you have any questions for me, don’t hesitate to email me.
SHELLEY PIERCE,
PRESCHOOL & CHILDREN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR
God has blessed me by allowing me to be a part of children’s ministries in one way or another for most of my life. As a part of your staff family for more than 20 years, it is an honor and privilege to plan and oversee the ministries to preschool and elementary age children. God has provided a wonderful, loving staff of volunteers who prepare each week to bring the Gospel to the children on Sunday mornings at 9:00, as well as our Wednesday evening Gospel Project classes.
Pastor Tommy and I enjoy time with our growing family. We have four married children and nine grands. #Blessed!
My faves include my morning cup of coffee, all things pumpkin spice and snow, snow, snow!
If I am not spending time with family, you will find me at my computer working on my next book.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions or just want to chat.

Lee Allen Dalton,
Minister of Musical Worship
My name is Lee Allen Dalton and I am excited to be the Minister of Musical Worship at Towering Oaks Baptist Church.
I am married to my wife Stacie and we have 3 beautiful children; Nathan, Carson, and Elizabeth.
I was saved at the age of 7 at Vacation Bible School at Lebanon Baptist Church in Talbott, TN and was later baptized and called to vocational music ministry at First Baptist Church, Morristown, TN. I have been a Minister of Music for over 21 years. I have also served as a Christian educator for almost 11 years and currently I teach Faith Studies and Technology at All Saints’ Episcopal School in Morristown, TN.
I have a desire to see people experience the presence of the Lord through musical worship. It’s not about me when I am on the platform leading in worship, it’s all about Jesus. I want to see our music ministry at Towering Oaks glorify the Lord and be lead by the power and the presence of the Holy Spirit.
In my down time I love to be at the beach on vacation, watch the University of Tennessee athletics, and eat Mexican food.
My family and I are blessed to be at Towering Oaks Baptist Church.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions or just want to chat.
AMY PFAFF-BIEBEL,
TOCS ADMINISTRATOR
Our Heavenly Father has blessed me beyond measure both in my personal life and in my calling to lead the school ministry of Towering Oaks Baptist Church. Since beginning my personal relationship with Jesus Christ in 2001, God has continued to help me grow in my love and knowledge of His Word and allowed me the opportunity to impact young people in His name. I am in my 27th year of education since graduating from Saginaw Valley State University with both my BA and MA in education. I feel so blessed to be leading this ministerial and educational branch of TOBC because I have a deep love and passion for our Savior, children, and Kingdom education.

Scott Parker,
Facilities Assistant
I serve as the Facilities Manager and assist with volunteer coordination for local mission projects here at Towering Oaks Baptist Church. My wife, Jennifer, our son Clinton, and I moved to Greeneville in February of 2024 and were soon invited to Towering Oaks Baptist Church. The first time we walked through the doors, we knew this was where God wanted us to be.
I brought 38 years of experience in commercial maintenance with me. It is an honor to be a part of this ministry and use the talents God has given me to help keep the facilities here at TOBC in good repair. As a team, we strive to be the best stewards possible with what God has blessed us with.

Pam Bell,
Financial Secretary of TOBC & TOCS
Hello, my name is Pam Bell. I am a Greeneville native and have been truly blessed to serve as the Financial Secretary at TOBC since February 2025. My husband, Donnie, and I have shared 36 wonderful years of marriage. We are the proud parents of four and grandparents of eight, and we recently welcomed our first great-grandson!
When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me enjoying God’s creation. My 'perfect day' is sitting by a mountain stream, listening to the water and soaking in the peace of the outdoors. I also love gardening, family time, and cuddling with my fur babies.
Children’s ministry has been my passion for 30 years, but I’m also proof that you’re never too old to learn something new—I recently started piano lessons and am loving every minute of it!
I am so grateful for the Lord’s leading in my life and for the joy of being part of the TOBC family.

Mindy Porter, Custodial Team Leader
I have been serving at Towering Oaks Baptist Church since 2021. I am married to my husband, James, and together we are blessed with wonderful children. One of my greatest joys is investing in the lives of young people through youth ministry. I love Jesus, cherish my family, and enjoy spending time with animals and music.
